Christopher Burpee is the Assistant Director of Event Production at Northwestern University. Chris oversees the the Technical Services team, Event Operations team, and the Performance and Satellite Venues team. Chris support events in Norris University Center, Cahn Auditorium, and 6 other satellite venues. Chris also serves on the Event Support Team, Gameday Incident Support Team, Northwestern Staff Advisory Council (NUSAC), and as an Administrator on Call.
In addition to Chris' work in higher education, Chris also freelances as a Production Manager, Technical Director, and Lighting Designer.
Christopher Burpee has a Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration and Policy (MSHE) from the School of Education and Social Policy (SESP) at Northwestern University and a Bachelor's Degree in Lighting Design from The Theatre School at DePaul University (TTS).
Christopher Burpee is a member of the Association of College Unions International (ACUI). Chris served on the Conference Program Team for the 2022 Annual Conference in Chicago. Chris has also delivered multiple presentations at the regional and international conferences.
